Century Communities integrated campaign and real estate marketing work by Péju Alawusa

The work

One brand. Many points of contact.

My work with Century Communities spanned campaign development, promotional marketing, community launches, digital advertising, print production and long-form editorial design.

The challenge was rarely about creating one isolated piece. Campaign ideas needed to work across multiple formats, markets and customer touchpoints while remaining consistent with the Century Communities brand.

That meant balancing concept and visual impact with the practical realities of versioning, production, deadlines, vendor requirements and sales-team needs.

Campaign 01

Date the Rate. Marry the House.

A promotional concept designed to shift attention away from short-term mortgage-rate anxiety and back toward the long-term value of finding the right home.

The campaign used an approachable relationship metaphor — encouraging buyers to think of the interest rate as temporary, while the home itself represented the longer-term commitment.

Creative approach

The visual system combined Century Communities’ established brand language with a more conversational promotional message, creating a campaign that felt timely without abandoning brand consistency.

Designed to scale

The concept was structured for adaptation across sales, promotional and digital formats while keeping the central message immediately recognizable.

Campaign 02

Touchdown. Score Big.

A sports-inspired New Home Kickoff Event developed as a flexible promotional campaign across digital, print and sales-center touchpoints.

The visual direction used football language, field diagrams and bold typography to create an energetic campaign that could remain recognizable across a broad range of sizes and formats.

System thinking

The campaign had to remain visually consistent whether it appeared as a large-format sales-center graphic or a small digital advertisement.

Production thinking

Each execution required careful adaptation of hierarchy, typography, imagery and promotional messaging rather than simply resizing one master design.

Campaign 03

Seasonal campaigns. Timely sales stories.

Seasonal marketing provided another opportunity to balance emotional messaging with sales-driven information, promotional incentives and featured-home content.

Editorial · Annual report

Long-form thinking. Production-ready detail.

The Century Communities 2022 Annual Report extended the work beyond campaign advertising into structured, long-form corporate communication.

The project required clear information hierarchy, consistent typography, image management and careful production across a document designed for both corporate communication and final print delivery.

Across the work

Ideas designed to survive production.

The Century Communities work reflects the way I prefer to operate: conceptually engaged, visually consistent and closely connected to the realities of production.

01

Integrated campaign thinking

Building concepts that can extend coherently across multiple channels rather than designing individual pieces in isolation.

02

Brand consistency

Maintaining a recognizable Century Communities visual language while allowing each campaign to have its own personality.

03

Production at scale

Adapting artwork across formats, sizes and regional requirements while protecting hierarchy and visual quality.

04

Hands-on execution

Carrying work from concept and layout through versioning, file preparation, prepress and final delivery.
